2. Position Summary:
a. The full-time, on-site Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer (Junior) in Aberdeen, MD will be working with Tactical Waveforms and Networking Waveforms to support the testing of military wireless communication systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in RF engineering, familiarity with waveform propagation and networking waveforms, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. 3. Key Roles/Duties included, but not limited to:
a. Test and Debug wireless communication systems
b. Conduct system-level testing and evaluation of RF hardware and software components
c. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement solutions for complex RF engineering problems
d. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in RF engineering and wireless communication technology
e. Develop and maintain technical documentation for wireless communication systems
f. Participate in project planning and progress meetings

4. Basic Qualifications:
a. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field
b. One (1)+ year experience in RF engineering with specific experience in waveform propagation and networking waveforms
c. Knowledge of RF engineering principles and practices, including RF design and analysis, RF measurement techniques, and electromagnetic theory
d. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
e. Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and team members

5. Preferred Qualifications:
a. Two (2)+ years’ experience with tactical waveforms
b. Two (2)+ years’ experience with networking waveforms

6. Travel:
a. Up to twenty (20)% CONUS travel is required

7. Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a background check and/or security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: Active Secret clearance is preferred, or the ability to gain a clearance
