Title: Supply Chain Manager, Mid-Senior
a. Status: Full-Time, Regular Salary, Non-Exempt
b. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 0900hrs – 1700hrs
c. Location: On-Site, Aberdeen, MD

2. Key Roles/Duties:
a. Design and implement supply chain strategies aligning with the company’s goals
b. Optimize logistics, procurement, and inventory management to improve efficiency and reduce costs
c. Identify, select, and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms
d. Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards
e. Oversee the acquisition of raw materials, parts, or finished goods while ensuring on-time delivery and cost-effective procurement
f. Maintain proper stock levels and avoid shortages or excess inventory
g. Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods
h. Ensure on-time delivery to customers and production sites
i. Monitor and control inventory levels across the supply chain
j. Use forecasting tools to predict demand and avoid overstock or stockouts
k. Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
l. Prepare reports on supply chain performance [Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), cost analysis, delivery times, etc.]
m. Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies
n. Ensure supply chain practices meet environmental and ethical standards while also complying with regulations related to trade, safety, and labor
o. Experience with bonded inventory programs reducing lead time and improve inventory turns
p. Lead cost reduction initiatives with suppliers and secured customer approvals for savings
q. Manage quoting for new projects, including pricing strategy and vendor collaboration
r. Serve as Lead Auditor for internal ISO audits, improving audit procedures
3. Basic Qualifications:
a. Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
b. +3 years of demonstrated experience in an equivalent or similar role
c. Demonstrated experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
d. Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001:2015 or other industry-specify quality systems
e. Maintain highly organized and detailed records
f. Ability to operate material handling equipment (i.e. forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
g. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
4. Preferred Qualifications:
a. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
b. Certification such as: Production and Inventory Management (APICS CPIM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Professional in Supply Management (ISM CPSM), Project Management Professional (PMP)
c. +6 years of demonstrated experience in an equivalent or similar role
d. Hands-on experience with production line support and troubleshooting
5. Travel: Up to ten (10) percent (%) Continental United States (CONUS) travel (local)
