Our Team
Joseph “Joe” Nguyen founded Veritech in 2015 after twenty-five (25) years supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) and other Federal agencies. An innovative software engineer, he is a recognized leader in advanced development and integration methodologies and supporting engineering development lifecycles from concept through delivery. Joseph’s focus is to bolster Veritech’s capabilities by centralizing Company focus on three (3) key areas: cutting-edge talent acquisition, technology trend assessment, and strategic incorporation of known and emerging technology into advanced product delivery. Joseph is a member of numerous industry groups focused on providing support to the U.S. Federal Government. Alongside his vast experience, Joseph has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Arizona State University.

Tracy Batman leads Veritech’s daily operations and resource management. Before joining Veritech, Tracy devoted twenty-five (25) years in senior management and leadership roles as a Civil Servant, Federal Contractor, and in the U.S. Army Reserves. In each of these roles, she supported several Public, Private and Department of Defense (DoD) agencies to include joint services, as well as, Headquarters (HQ), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and HQ, U.S. Army Force Management Support Agency and HQ, Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (JPEO CBRN). Her roles have included direct support to Senior Executive Service (SES) & O4 operational management, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and Stand Alone Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based contract management, Acquisition Category (ACAT) II & III programs, Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), led multiple Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) contract developments, and directly supported Operation WARP Speed’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), four (4) Star General Perna. Tracy received her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2022 and her Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification in 2024.

Jeffrey “Jeff” Jubin serves as Veritech’s Director of Special Programs after supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) for over twenty-five (25) years. A seasoned professional as a U.S Army veteran, law enforcement, and a highly technical engineering background, he understands needs both in the field and during technical development stages. His career highlights his commitment to enhancing Soldier Technology and addressing critical gaps in collaboration. Notably, Jeff’s leadership assisted in securing the 2010 Army’s Top Ten Inventions award for the Soldier Worn Integrated Power and Protective System. Jeff is responsible for enhancing Veritech’s prototyping and product footprint in both the commercial and DoD arenas.

Michael “Mike” Stein serves as Veritech’s Director of Product Line Management. During his eighteen (18) years of working on military power solutions, Mike has worked directly with the U.S. Army and many Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) such as L3Harris and Thales in developing dozens of different power and data products for the Warfighter. Among these noteworthy projects are working with Nett Warrior (NW) in the development of the Conformal Wearable Battery (CWB) and later the Small Tactical Universal Battery (STUB) for the United States Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center. This experience has given Mike insight into understanding the needs of the Soldier and incorporating them into new product development efforts.

Lisa Roth serves as Veritech’s Facility Security Officer (FSO). Before joining Veritech, Lisa devoted over thirteen (13) years to the management of the Security program for Patricio Enterprises (PE), a Department of Defense (DoD) contractor, where she serviced a myriad of contracts. She obtained an Operations Security (OPSEC) Awareness Certificate in 2018. Lisa has built Security programs from the ground up, including the establishment, development, and publication of training products. Moreover, she has experience managing thousands of security clearances. Her assistance has been instrumental in obtaining company facility clearances for other DoD contractor organizations and various Joint Venture (JV) security programs. She is a member of multiple Security organizations, including QASIC and Tri-SAC. Lisa has management experience of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 8001, Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015, and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 3 oversight. On top of her vast Security experience, Lisa has overseen day-to-day Information Technology (IT) management system operations for over five-hundred (500) employees in several locations.

Richelle José serves as Veritech’s Operations Team Lead (OTL), responsible for optimizing daily operating duties, with focus in Operations, Contracts, and Human Resources. Additionally, she leads Veritech’s compliance programs for International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)/Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (MOSH). Richelle graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s from Ohio University and Summa Cum Laude, with her Master’s from the American College of Education. Richelle is a trilingual professional who is working towards her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

JiLee proudly served as a dedicated member of the Veritech family from September 2015 until August 2024. As Chief Morale Officer, his contributions were instrumental in fostering a paw-sitive workplace environment across employees, business partners, current & potential clients. A graduate from Harford County’s prestigious Sit Means Sit Dog Training academy in September 2021, JiLee applied his obedience training and problem solving to a multitude of other areas, including: treat acquisition, facility perimeter security, business development, and CONUS walks. JiLee had a natural ability to sense and respond to the needs of others, making him a great fit for our company culture. A true ambassador of the “Golden Rule” philosophy, JiLee never failed to remind everyone that sometimes the best solution to a problem is a more hands on approach of lending a paw to those in need. JiLee’s thoughtful, understanding and trusting nature contributed to Veritech’s strong recruitment, retention, and employee relation efforts.
