Aberdeen, Maryland – Veritech LLC, an SBA 8(a) certified defense technology and manufacturing firm, is proud to announce an award for a production effort for WedgeLink systems in support of the U.S. Army under the Capability Program Executive Command and Control Information Network (CPE C2IN) portfolio. The WedgeLink system, designed to enhance tactical communications interoperability and operational flexibility for the modern warfighter, represents a significant milestone for Veritech and its commitment to delivering mission-critical capabilities at scale.

The Wedge increases battery life of the radio by connecting to a Conformal Wearable Battery, and it provides chat and position location information (PLI) by connecting to the NettWarrior End User Device (EUD).

Veritech has established a dedicated manufacturing and production line located just outside of Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. This facility is purpose-built to enable high-volume production while maintaining rigorous quality, compliance, and testing standards aligned with Department of Defense requirements.

The production line incorporates advanced assembly processes, Electrostatic discharge (ESD)-controlled environments, and integrated testing stations to ensure each WedgeLink unit meets stringent performance and reliability criteria. Veritech’s ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system further reinforces its commitment to consistent, high-quality execution. This award supports ongoing modernization initiatives within the Army’s tactical communications ecosystem, enabling enhanced connectivity, adaptability, and mission readiness across operational environments.
