Aberdeen, Maryland ─ Veritech is proud to announce we are a recipient of the Maryland Manufacturing 4.0 Grant! We are humbled and thankful to the State of Maryland’s administration under Gov. Wes Moore and Lt. Gov. Aruna Miller for their continued investment in Maryland’s advanced manufacturing. We are extremely grateful for the efforts of Delegate Lily Qi, Mike Galiazzo, Brigitte Peters, Ben McGlaughlin, David Mingus, and Regional Manufacturing Institute (RMI) of Maryland for running the Manufacturing 4.0 Program with incredible efficiency and thoroughness. Your combined early vision and efforts are helping Maryland Manufacturers level the playing field both domestically and globally.

The Manufacturing 4.0 program provides matching funds for capital equipment investment to digitize and automate. Lowering the overall cost of capital equipment is critical for U.S. manufacturers to compete globally against those in countries with aggressive capital equipment subsidies- especially as increasing international tariffs have future and unpredictable impacts.
Veritech’s Tracy Batman and Michael Stein will use these funds in support of provided cold temperature powered solutions in response to the Department of Defense’s 2024 Arctic Strategy.
