1. Title: Test Engineer, Junior to Intermediate
a. Status: Full Time (Salary or 1099)
b. Schedule: M-F; Core Business Hours
c. Location: On-Site, Aberdeen, MD 21001
d. Supervisory: N/a

Position Summary:
a. The Full-Time, on-site qualified candidate will support and be engaged in the full lifecycle of hardware and software testing. The candidate will use a variety of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) to support the test planning and execution of products presented for testing. Testing will support the upgrade, enhancement, and lifecycle maintenance of equipment. The position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills to document test plans, procedure and reports as well as verbally presenting test findings to customers and senior leadership.

2. Key Roles/Duties:
a. Develop and execute test procedures for Next Generation Tactical Radios
b. Responsible for developing test procedures and verification on target hardware
c. Design testing activities from a requirements document as the primary source
d. Test, identify defects, and work with design and software engineers to develop solutions or mitigation procedures to ensure system functional and operational requirements are met
e. Perform other duties as directed

3. Basic Qualifications:
a. Bachelor’s Degree in Technology/related field or equivalent work experience
b. Basic understanding of networking
c. Prior test lab working experience is preferred
e. Prior professional work experience with Radio Frequency (RF) concepts

4. Preferred Qualifications:
a. Former or current Army twenty-five (25) Series Military Occupational Specialty (MOS)
b. Prior test lab working experience
c. Linux experience in script development and basic navigation
d. Hands-on experience with radio systems

5. Clearance:  Active Secret clearance or higher is required
